A Desert Getaway Experience

Outlined below are the details of our Day Trip:
Around 9:00 a.m: Departure in 4X4 Toyota Land Cruiser to discover the desert. 
You will pass through the large Ziz valley with around twenty fortified oases with pre-Saharan kasbahs.
You will visit the marble and fossil workshop of Erfoud, the Souk of Sijilmassa and the mausoleum of Rissani with the ksar Abdel Halim.
After Lunch at Restaurant or in a Kasbah in Merzouga, you will discover and exploit the following sites:

 “Pigeons des Sables”: a group that will share with you, for a few minutes, their Saharan music, accompanied by drums, guembris and qaraqebs, with the added bonus of a few dance steps in their company. According to the Bambaras, their music has therapeutic virtues, the music sometimes joins an atmosphere of trance, the atmosphere is particular but nevertheless very pleasant (A stop will be scheduled).

“Mifis Mines”: are located in the high plateau and offer a breathtaking view of the Erg and the Hamada. They are located on one side of Erg Chebbi near a small military village. It is a lead mine exploiting, in galleries, one of the main lead deposits in the region.

Desert landscapes (salt lakes, black desert with volcanic stones, dry rivers, etc.).
The tracks of the Paris-Dakar Rally.
Nomadic families: A stop to have tea with them and discover their simple life.
National 4X4 Automobile Museum of Morocco.
The Hassi Labied Oasis and its Khettara tunnel (traditional irrigation of this village).
Next, return directly to the large dune to either walk or ride camels, witnessing the breathtaking sunset.
Then, go ahead to Er-Rachidia.
